First Century Foundations is a television ministry that began airing in September 2005. The focus of this ministry is to teach believers about the Hebraic roots of the Christian faith. By understanding the life, times and culture of Jesus, we can better understand Him and how to follow Him.

We seek to show you the stories behind the stories. There are several things the writers of the Gospels would not have had to include in their account because as they were writing to a primarily Jewish audience, they wouldn't have needed to explain a story or a figure of speech (kind of like the phrase, "It's raining cats and dogs," would not require a present day explanation to you or me...we know what it means). People of that day and culture would have understood all the background going on. But about 2,000 years and thousands of kilometres removed and we sometimes miss the background of what would have been going on in that day. Learn the beauty of these hidden truths.

Each episode features a Biblical teaching from a Hebraic perspective.
