Early on the morning of May 8th, 1978, the Holy Spirit spoke to Clyde Williamson in a dream inviting him to "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem" according to Psalm 122:6.

This lead him going to Israel with his wife, Marion and their two daughters, Karen and Kimberly, mid-May to mid-June 1980.

On Sunday, January 23rd, 1983, the Lord brought forth a call through Clyde's lips, proclaiming a world-wide Esther Fast for April 1-3 that year. The purpose of this fast was to pray for the release, return, restoration and revival of Israel and the Church. Records on file indicate that many thousands of people in seventy-three countries heard about the fast.

In September of 1985, Clyde and Marion took a step of faith leaving a full-time pastoral position to take a faith ministry, on behalf of Israel. After four years (1985-1988) of taking small groups of 'pilgrims' up to see the Land of Israel, the Holy Spirit began to guide them in a new direction. The call was clear and that was to pray for the Body of Messiah in Israel and to believe God to meet their every need according to Romans 15:27 — "...for if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews' spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings."

It was in 1991 that Clyde was officially introduced to congregational and ministry leadership in Israel, beginning in the Galilee. God has bound their hearts together with the leaders since that time and Operation Outreach now has the privilege of regular bi-monthly correspondence with over 60 ministries. It is out of these communications that the bi-monthly ISRAEL PRAYER WATCH (IPW) has been put together since its first issue in February/March 1992. Presently there are close to 60 IPW Prayer Groups established with the majority being in Canada.

In November of 2002, Joe Amaral (Clyde and Marion's son-in-law) joined Clyde on a trip to Israel. During this trip he was clearly directed by the Lord to begin bringing people to Israel and to begin teaching on the Hebraic roots of our Faith.

As we go to Israel four times each year, God is strengthening our ties with Israel and in the Gospel with the Body of Christ our Messiah within that Land. It is marvelous to be a small part of the miracle of church growth among the Jewish, Arab and International people groups. Thank you for your ongoing prayers.
